FactboundPrivacy Policy
Factbound turns recorded conversations into a private, evidence-based record. Conversation data is sensitive, so the product is designed around restricted access, transparency, and deletion rights.
Status: this is an early private prototype and testing policy. It will be expanded before public app-store distribution.
Data We Process
- Account identifiers, such as email address and display name.
- Audio recordings uploaded or recorded for analysis.
- Generated transcripts, speaker labels, notes, edits, validation choices, and reports.
- Operational logs needed for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
How We Use Data
Data is used to transcribe conversations, separate speakers, calculate evidence metrics, support user corrections, generate reports, and maintain the service. We do not sell conversation data.
Processors
Factbound may use infrastructure, authentication, speech, diarization, and language-model providers to process records. Production documentation will list active processors and retention details before public release.
Security
Private app routes are protected by authentication and membership checks. Audio and transcript data should not be cached by the browser service worker.
Deletion
You can request deletion of your account or conversation records from the delete account page. Signed-in users can create a deletion request through the app API. Some audit, billing, security, abuse prevention, dispute, or legal records may need limited retention.
